Superfood Juice Recipe

Often when traveling I find it hard not to over-indulge. Especially when trying new foods is one of the reasons I love to travel. The best remedy for me is this superfood juice recipe. I absolutely love juicing and decided to give it another go since my last 3 day juice detox.

Inspired by Jason Vale’s recipes, this is such a filling and tasty juice to start each morning. It definitely helped me feel less bloated and heavy after several days.

With the addition of kale, chia seeds and flaxseeds, this juice is incredibly healthy and packed with nutrients that your body will love you for. One big glass is rich in fibre, protein, omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants (goodbye wrinkles) to name a few. It really fills me up for hours too!

Superfood Juice Recipe

For one person you’ll need:

3 apples
1 large brocolli floret
1 inch cucumber
1/4 yellow pepper
1 carrot
2 cm beetroot
1 celery stick
1 cm lemon
1 handful spinach
1 handful kale
1 avocado
1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
1/2 teaspoon ground flaxseeds

Method:

Superfood Juice Recipe

1. Put all ingredients (apart from avocado, chia seeds and flaxseeds) in a juicer.

2. Pour all the juice in a blender. Peel the avocado and add the flesh to the blender, plus the chia seeds and flaxseeds.

3. Whizz it all up and enjoy!
