Sunrise at Sea

One of my favourite routines on the boat is getting out on the helideck each morning to take a photo of the gorgeous sunrise.

Each day a different colour splashed unpredictably across the sky. The slow, surfacing sun creeping delicately over the horizon, casting a shining path across the deep blue ocean.  It really is stunning!

Here is a collection of my photos so far..

  1. Love the photos! I always think they’re something more to a sunrise than a sunset. Maybe even just being proud of myself for waking up early enough/staying awake late enough to see it!

  2. Love them all. The first time I truly saw a sunrise the way it is meant to be seen was with my son 2 years ago. It made me realize how lucky I am to be alive and be around people who gave me their love generously.
